Corrageen House is positioned at the end of a country lane and has the seclusion desired by many. Over the two miles of its length the lane climbs some two hundred metres, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and bringing us to the pristine natural beauty of the Blackstairs Mountains (special conservation area), with its hill walks and nature trails. The substantial late 17th century farm house has been expertly restored and extended to create a warm family home.

The family area, with its original forge fireplace taking centre stage in the main room, links superbly with the sun room, creating a wonderful space to enjoy long summer evenings or to be cosy by the fire in winter. The Andrew Ryan handcrafted kitchen, with its AGA, cut stone walls and tiled floors, is at the heart of the house and includes a generous area for informal dining. Glass doors lead out of the kitchen to a sheltered courtyard, excellently suited for barbequing.
