A robust access gate in oak wood and concrete provides access to a half-paved forest path which leads to this lovely family home, a modern manor which was architecturally constructed in 2010 on a completely enclosed plot of 9.1 acres in the vast forests of National Park 'de Utrechtse Heuvelrug'. An impression of the layout:
Ground floor
The entrance makes an imposing impression because of the enormous height and an amazing vide. For all window frames and doors of the house aluminium was used which has been finished in a deep dark grey colour both inside and outside. At the right side there is the access to the wardrobe and the guest toilet, on the other side there is the stairway to the first floor and the access to the basement. From the hall the double garage/storage space can be reached.
The living room is located in the heart of the house, with view on the garden, the terraces and the swimming pond of 6 to 12 metres. On the floor there are massive oak planks. There is a wood burning fireplace. The large sliding door provides access to the terraces. Through double sliding doors in the living room the large kitchen diner is accessible.

The 3 (children's) bedrooms have custom closets and storage space below the roof. These rooms have double opening doors to terraces which extend below the roof's edge on both sides of the house.
The master bedroom is, as is usual for a villa of this signature, a spacious suite with, in the entrance at both sides, a walk-in dressing room. From the bedroom the bathroom is accessible, done in stucco. This bathroom has a bathtub, double washstand and a large walk-in shower.
