Christie’s International Real Estate’s Dallas/Fort Worth Affiliate, ULTERRE, opens in Johnson County, a market to watch
A team of six led by Karan Wethington, a realtor for more than 20 years, will serve this vibrant area, including the town of Burleson with ranch offerings and luxury homes, just 30 minutes from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex
New York, New York (April 27, 2021) — Christie’s International Real Estate proudly announces the expansion of its Affiliate ULTERRE, which first launched in Fort Worth five years ago and expanded to Dallas three years later.
The town of Burleson in Johnson County is a tight-knit community with thoughtful amenities. These include a state-of-the-art recreation center, a newly completed plaza with destination dining, and a performance stage for concerts. The public schools rank high in the state, and — along with single family homes the area — the town offers ranch properties, all in close proximity to the world-class arts, culture and fine dining Dallas and Fort Worth have to offer.
Said Rick Moeser, executive director of Christie’s International Real Estate: “As the real estate arm of the world’s leading art auction house, we continue to enter luxury enclaves to assist top brokers and their clients with a shared passion for the collection of great works of art, jewelry, watches, wine and the most extraordinary homes. In a short amount of time, ULTERRE established itself as the local luxury leader in Fort Worth and Dallas. To have this high level of expertise in both real estate and the Christie’s culture available and growing in North Texas is truly exciting.”
ULTERRE distinguished itself in August of last year by selling the Baldridge House for its full asking price of US$6,900,000, making it one of Fort Worth’s most expensive sales. In Johnson County, the ULTERRE expansion will be spearheaded by Karan Wethington, who not only has 20 years of local real estate experience as a top producing agent but is also a civic leader in the community, having served as past president of the Johnson County American Heart Association, past chairman of the Burleson Chamber of Commerce, and past board member of the Johnson County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Her team of six specializes in farm and ranch properties, luxury homes and commercial development. Members on the Wethington Team joining ULTERRE are Laura Collins, Chad Fincher, Wendi Frasier, Jordan Holley, Mike Huggins, and Tiffany Kral.
Concho Minick, CEO of ULTERRE said: “We are energized to find a group that so closely aligns with our mission to do something uncommon in modern brokerage. It feels like we have already known the Wethington Team for a long time. These are the type of people you want to work with every day.”
The team is currently representing Rafter 28, a country estate on 120 acres featuring custom details such as reclaimed wood, rusted tin accents and antique doors and fixtures. The equestrian facilities are state of the art and include a 12-stall barn and covered area with sprinklers and lights.
Added Ms. Wethington: “Christie’s International Real Estate and ULTERRE are made up of exceptional agents and support team members. They are the perfect team and culture to power the Wethington Team’s next chapter.”
