Kathleen Coumou brings a wealth of experience gained through 27 years of practicing real estate in the luxury real estate market. She is Executive Director, Broker of Record for Christie's International Real Estate, a subsidiary of Christie's.
Based at Christie's New York office in Rockefeller Center, Coumou is responsible for overseeing affiliates and branding efforts covering territory spanning from eastern Canada down the Atlantic seaboard to Virginia. She was instrumental in creating the firm's highly specialized marketing program, the Bespoke Marketing Program, for the world's most significant properties. As the Broker of Record for Christie's International Real Estate NY Properties, Kathleen leads the real estate teams for the NYC Brokerage business.
Some of her recent co-marketing successes include the global marketing of two important Connecticut properties – $140M ‘Copper Beech' in Greenwich and Huguette Clark's ‘Le Beau Chateau' in New Canaan; three properties on Fifth Avenue in New York City – the Huguette Clark apartments, Andrew Lloyd Webber's duplex, and the Stanford White Mansion; Astor's Beechwood mansion and the ‘Fairholme' mansion in Newport, Rhode Island; the Dupont family estate in Pennsylvania; and ‘The Fessenden House' in Washington DC among many other significant property sales throughout the region and the world.
She has created training programs for the global network of top agents, assisting them with implementing the Christie's brand into the marketing of their luxury properties and positioning them as leaders in luxury real estate market. Previously as the Director of Luxury Marketing for Coach Realtors, Christie's International Real Estate's Affiliate on Long Island, she was responsible for advancing the company's luxury program by strategically applying the Christie's brand into the marketing of their high-end homes.
Kathleen's knowledge of brokerage and her strategic partnership with Christie's art business offers her the unique opportunity to blend the worlds of art and real estate together through the company's high-level, global marketing programs and services.
