My journey to Charlotte NC has been a long and interesting one. A native of Kenilworth, England, I emigrated to New York City to look for adventure and found it by working as a Foreign Exchange Trader on Wall Street. I eventually moved to San Francisco and happily settled there working as a Trader, a Corporate Trainer, and dabbling in the crazy world of Californian Real Estate.
My husband and I were blessed with twin girls and we quickly discovered that San Francisco was great fun without children but the schools were terrible and it was no place to raise children. Luck intervened and my husband was transferred to Charlotte with Bank of America in 2001 and we discovered the Queen City.
After almost 20 years I consider myself practically a native and have seen so much growth and change. Our hip downtown (uptown!) with condos, fabulous restaurants, museums, and sporting venues all within easy walking distance changes constantly. We found terrific public schools, my daughters went from kindergarten to high school and had an excellent education.
When my family from England visit they all remark on the beautiful homes, landscaping, and trees that make the city so attractive.
I have been a Realtor in Charlotte for six years and enjoy working with both out-of-town buyers, marveling at our still reasonable home prices, and with sellers, getting their homes ready for the market and guiding them through the selling process.
My family has lived in South Charlotte for 20 years now and I look forward to sharing my knowledge of my adopted city with you and finding the perfect home so you can enjoy everything Charlotte has to offer. If youre selling I have years of experience in preparing your home for the market and marketing it in a way to find the perfect buyer.
