The top first-half sales reported by the Affiliates of Christie’s International Real Estate featured homes with unique history, provenance, beauty, and luxury. Among the sales were the cliffside summer retreat of American author and Pulitzer Prize-winner Edith Wharton, a rare Aspen penthouse, a Hawaii compound used in an Academy Award-winning film, a Texas state landmark, and several sumptuous waterfront estates.
