"I have loved, and lived, the cottage life since well before I was born. It started with my Great Grandfather pioneering cottaging in Northern Georgian Bay and it has trickled down through many family members of today, having property scattered about on Georgian Bay and through the Muskoka Lakes. I have had the luck to travel far and wide through my life, all throughout Canada, USA, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and hold Dual Citizenship with France and have been exposed to many different cultures, languages and amazing ways of life, but I seem to always return to the beauty and simplicity of Muskoka and Georgian Bay.
I fell in love with Muskoka when my parents owned St. Helen's on Lake Joseph back in 1987-'99, when it still had the rustic Olde Muskoka cottage with its original kitchen circa mid 1800?s; a Great Room adorned with a fireplace so large you could almost walk in to it and the separate boys and girls sleeping cabins scattered all around the property.
Then, as of 1995, I became a permanent resident of Port Carling, where I have worked side-by-side with my husband, David at The Cove Muskoka, with our recent acquisition of the Marina on Lake Joseph, The Cove Marina, where I am lucky enough to have my office with Amy McDonald, Tom McDonald and Jamie Blair.
I love Muskoka for the simplicity it exudes, its natural and unique beauty combined with idyllic and elaborate luxury, and also for its many social connections and opportunities that seems to bring people from all corners of the world together, all whom enjoy the same comforts and easy lifestyle. I truly enjoy introducing new people to this stunning area, and I love reminiscing with those that have had it flowing in their blood for generations."
