Palisades Interstate Park

The Kearney House

Also known as the “Blackledge-Kearney House,” this historic home, which was once used as a tavern and as a police station, is listed on national and state historic registers. Now the oldest building in the New Jersey section of Palisades Interstate Park, it’s open for tours most weekends from May through October.

Women’s Federation Monument

Sitting atop Palisades Interstate Park, at a cross-section of Long Path and Forest View Trail, this monument, built in 1929, is dedicated to the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs that helped save the Palisades.
