Wellington, an affluent Palm Beach County suburb, is home to a world-class equestrian community where some of the most prestigious equestrians live and play. With an abundance of beautiful, rural luxury real estate, Wellington offers a uniquely different environment than the urban waterfront towns in Palm Beach County.

Located in southwestern Palm Beach County, Wellington is situated north of Boynton Beach with The Everglades just west of the community. Home to The International Polo Club Palm Beach and the Winter Equestrian Festival, Wellington is both internationally famous among the horse community, we well as being a family-oriented community. This town prides itself on its natural environment, while offering world-renowned equestrian amenities, where you can enjoy miles of scenic horse trails.

Wellington is home to the internationally famous annual Winter Equestrian Festival from January through March each year. See many of the world’s finest horses and riders compete at the Palm Beach Equestrian Center in Wellington in both show jumping and dressage. Competitors are the best riders of their class—Olympians, adult amateurs, juniors, and children. It’s an equestrian festival like no other.

Wellington has a wide variety of neighborhoods within the community. Choose from magnificent custom-built estates and ranches with horse trails, or single-family homes in gated and non-gated communities. In addition to being one of the United States’ leading equestrian destinations, there is an aviation section in the town. The aviation community has its own runway and properties here have their own private hangars. Avid golfers can play at Wellington National Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course, or choose from the abundance of other courses in Palm Beach County.

There are 26 community parks located throughout the area featuring softball/baseball fields with batting cages, playgrounds, pavilion/picnic areas, sand volleyball courts, basketball and shuffleboard courts. Residents and visitors alike can take advantage of the town’s Mall at Wellington Green, a shopper’s paradise encompassing 1.3 million square feet of shops, department stores, and food courts. Wellington has its share of entertainment and nightlife, however, when you want a little more hustle and bustle of city life or a chance to enjoy the beautiful beaches that southern Florida is famous for, the urban waterfront cities of Palm Beach County are a short drive away.
