The Villa 120, Hamilton Hoppin House, was built in 1856 and designed by Richard Upjohn, as was Kingscote in Newport. Built in the Italianate style it is the first Italian Stick Style design built in the United States. Today, this classic period home is an active Inn with eight guest suites, an innkeeper's quarters, and another staff apartment. After extensive upgrades and improvements, the property is a beautiful setting for guests and small private functions.
