Brian began his career in real estate in 2000 by joining his well-established family real estate team after leaving the computer networking consulting field. Much of his business is referral based so building relationships with his clients is important. To keep in touch with current and previous clients is essential and his previous work and relationships have earned him referrals of family and friends, which is something he is very proud of.
It really matters who you work with, and that is true with Realtors too. Brian has developed many Realtor connections locally, throughout
California and in other states and he works hard to build and keep good business relationships. He has also made many good contacts for the different
trades related to owning a home, so if you need a referral out of state or for a good handyman, just ask him.
Brian recently decided to join First Team Real Estate. He was approached by other brokerages but after seeing the many tools First Team offered him, their relationship with Christies International Real Estate, Luxury Portfolio International and their access into the Chinese market via Juwai.com, these partnerships and other benefits for his clients made the choice easy.
First Team Real Estate has been voted Best Real Estate Company in Orange County 6 years in a row, they are ranked #1 in Buyer Representation in Orange County (this helps the sellers too) they have broad online presence through over 2,000 listing syndication affiliates and they offer many print advertising options and are fully accountable through weekly reports, online traffic reports and showing feedback to their clients. These are some of the many ways of communication to the seller showing where and how their home is
Brian regularly attends training to improve his skillset and is a current member of real estate associations that regulate Realtor behavior and ethics. These are: National Association of Realtors (NAR), California Association of Realtors (CAR), and Orange County Association of Realtors (OCAR).
Brian is married with three daughters. He enjoys time with friends, keeping in touch in person and through social media. He enjoys sports,
camping and other outdoor activities, he spends time doing handyman fix ups, reading and he loves all kinds of music. Brian is active in church and helping at different community functions.
Brian's passion is to help others reach their goal of home ownership. He is honored to be of service to his clients and their family and friends. Reach out to Brian if you have any real estate questions or if you or someone you know are considering buying or selling real estate.
In Real Estate:
Each buyer and seller are different, I find great pleasure in all the sales and purchase and consider many moments in each situation a highlight. The first time buyer who finally had their offer accepted. The veteran buyer who was able to provide a home for his family with the VA loan. The relocation client who came from a lower priced area in the mid-west and was able to finally get their offer accepted (their 5th offer we have written) and we find out the introduction letter I wrote helped the seller decide to sell the this buyer. The listing that received multiple offers when the sellers were worried. The time(s) we had to get through a difficult escrow for whatever reason and still closed on time.
These are the highlights I like to remember.
I came from an IT background, I worked for Northrop Grumman on many different programs. The largest was the B2 Bomber program. I worked there in the computer industry (IT) as a Network Engineer, focusing on Wide Area Networking. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications Management.
Later I joined a consulting firm based in Irvine, called Netigy. This fast rising company had a good model and great people but the timing was not great. The 'dot bomb' crash in the late 1990's caused the company to be reduced in size and finally acquired by another consulting firm. I worked assisting clients with their application profiling/performance needs (basically what would happen when merging two different networks). My time with them ended in late 1999.
I have been part of a top producing team who received many Broker awards for production, number of units sold and recognition of reaching specific milestone goals continuously.
The true reward/award for me personally is seeing a family move into their new home to begin the next chapter in their lives. Or to assist a home seller so they can reach some other life goal, relocate for a new position, downsize their home, or help the buyer who is finally able to buy a home.
Plaques and recognition are nice but these are much more meaningful and real awards.
