Splash into Summer: 7 Homes with Infinity Pools

Luxury Defined spotlights a collection of stylish homes, each with its own zero-edge pool

It’s a scorching, record-breaking spring, and, with summer on the way, what better way to escape the heat than in the cool, clear waters and the beautiful illusion of an infinity pool?

The water flows over a vanishing edge, there to be silently filtered, cleansed, and returned in an endless cycle. Ah, the Zen tranquility of it! But it’s that edge, that negative-edge horizon line which makes artists of us all, putting us at the center of a new perspective on the world.

Why not contemplate that view—whether it be the sea, mountains, or countryside—from the glassy surface of water melding into a cloudless blue sky?

Consider an infinity pool overlooking France’s Lake Annecy or perhaps a zero-edge pool above the jungle canopy on the Thai island of Phuket. And if one infinity pool isn’t enough, how about two, each framing a picture-perfect vista of Gouverneur Bay on the island of St. Barths?

The homes featured in this Luxury Defined collection illustrate why an infinity pool is more than a trick of perspective: it’s the ultimate place to cool off and while away a lazy summer afternoon. Contemplate the infinite!
